Inspiration Behind the Design

The Nautilus draws its design inspiration from the steampunk aesthetic, heavily influenced by the illustrations in the novel "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea." Our design team conducted extensive research on steampunk art and literature to create a product that embodies the essence of this unique style. The brass elements throughout the design are reminiscent of the legendary steampunk submarine, the Nautilus. The mother-of-pearl inlays symbolize the mysterious beauty of the deep sea, while the faceplate design evokes the feeling of sitting in the submarine's control room, peering out through its large glass windows. This intricate design not only enhances the visual appeal but also immerses users in a rich, imaginative world.

Innovative Driver Configuration for Superior Sound Quality

At the heart of the Nautilus lies a sophisticated driver setup that delivers an extraordinary audio experience:

• 6mm Planar Driver for pristine high frequencies, ensuring every detail is captured with clarity.
• 10mm Dynamic Driver with Nanodiamond Coated DLC Diaphragm for full-range audio. The Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating offers superior rigidity and lightweight properties, resulting in reduced distortion and enhanced sound clarity.
• Two Bone Conduction Drivers from Sonion for mid-range texture rendering, enhancing the richness and depth of the audio.

These drivers are housed within a 3D printed Asymmetrical Co-axial Acoustic Chamber (AC-Squared). The planar driver is positioned in front of the dynamic driver, with a front-firing sound bore connected via a 3D printed waveguide. This innovative co-axial configuration, along with the asymmetrical acoustic chamber, provides optimal resonance across different frequency ranges, resulting in a well-balanced and natural sound signature.
