What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 93/100
The reviewed tuning is described as exceptionally balanced, combining powerful sub-bass with clear vocals and high-frequency detail that avoids harshness. Its particularly strong spatial presentation and ability to expose individual layers make it sound engaging as well as technically accomplished.
Bass
94/100
MajorHifi reports very strong, realistic sub-bass with convincing weight rather than an artificial coating. Despite its authority, the low end reportedly does not mask the rest of the mix or intrude on the overall balance.
Midrange
94/100
Vocals are a standout in the review, with enough resolution to distinguish a singer's fundamental tone, fry, and airy detail at once. This points to an articulate, revealing midrange rather than one that simply pushes vocals forward.
Treble
93/100
The upper range is described as crystal clear, allowing very high-pitched material to come through distinctly. The reviewer specifically notes the absence of harshness, suggesting detail without an aggressively bright edge.
Resolution Separation
94/100
The review praises the OH5's ability to elevate each element of a track while retaining the full layering within that element. Listeners can reportedly focus on a part without losing sight of the surrounding mix.
Soundstage Imaging
95/100
MajorHifi found the left-to-right stage notably broad and high-definition, with especially fluid panning. Imaging is called extremely accurate, distinctive, and entertaining, giving recordings a strong sense of spatial intrigue.
Dynamics Coherence
88/100
The review characterizes the overall signature as close to ideal and praises the bass for staying out of the rest of the mix, which supports a cohesive presentation. It says little directly about large-scale dynamic swings or transient attack, however.
FIT COMFORT ISOLATION PERFORMANCE 92/100
The OH5 is reported to fit comfortably while filling the ear securely enough to create unusually effective passive isolation. Its close-fitting nature appears beneficial for everyday listening, though fit will still depend on individual ear shape.
Seal Stability
92/100
The reviewer says the earpieces fill the ear in a way that produces substantial isolation, indicating a secure and consistent seal in their experience. No bass loss, shifting fit, or seal-related tonal variation was reported.
Comfort
89/100
MajorHifi found the OH5 comfortable for the most part. The qualification leaves room for anatomy-dependent variation, but there is no report of pronounced pressure or fatigue.
Isolation
95/100
Passive isolation is described as strong enough that the reviewer did not hear a doorbell ringing for several minutes. That is unusually emphatic real-world praise for the OH5's ability to block outside distractions.

Build Accessories
92/100
The supplied silver-plated single-crystal copper cable is described as well insulated and sturdy, and it uses a balanced 4.4 mm termination with included 3.5 mm and 2.5 mm adapters. The package also includes a stylish leather case and an extensive foam and silicone tip selection, giving owners useful connection and fit options.
Value for Money
95/100
At $489, MajorHifi calls the OH5 its new favorite IEM below $500 and says it possesses qualities heard in models costing thousands. That is strong praise for its competitiveness against substantially more expensive audiophile IEMs.
