The MFL-6 is a multi-functional loudspeaker - it’s the one speaker that fits all. It can be used as L, C, R, surround or Dolby Atmos. The angled front panel makes it ideal for Dolby Atmos, and it also allows one to flat wall mount them and achieve the toe-in we highly recommend for all our speakers. The angled front panel also has the speaker angled up at you when used as the center channel in setups with a large screen and the center channel placed close to the floor. Our previous models - HB-1, HC-1 and HIW-1s will not have optimal imaging when wall mounted flat against the wall.

We’ve also enlisted the inventor of constant directivity horn, Don Keele, to design the new horn. (The horns in the HB-1, HC-1 and HIW-1 were not his designs).
