The TYPE 20 is a perfect all-rounder monitor designed as the ideal partner for studio professionals who need to work on a variety of audio tasks. Thanks to the HEDD Air Motion Transformer driver, Closed or Ported mode, and DSP-enabled functionalities it delivers honest midrange clarity and plentiful low end performance. The TYPE 20 is equally well-suited to bass-hungry beats, jazz recordings, soundtrack work, or Atmos mixing.

Air Motion Transformer

Handmade in Berlin using high quality components, the HEDD Air Motion Transformer delivers a precise and wonderfully open sound. Thanks to ultra high frequency extension and remarkable transient response, natural sound reproduction is not distorted in any way.

Lineariser®

The heart of the MK2 range’s DSP, the HEDD Lineariser is a high-resolution, zero-phase filter designed to automatically eliminate time delays in order to improve resolution, separation, and imaging accuracy. Ideal for engineering and producing setups.

CoP: Closed or Ported

With CoP all MK2 monitors can act as either a closed or ported cabinet with the use of a POM plug. These two monitoring systems give you different advantages depending on needs: ported (open) lets you feel the music with more bass response while closed increases bass precision, texture resolution, and transient response.
