The midrange is generally characterized as warm, organic and naturally toned, with Z Reviews calling vocals pure and immersive. There is some disagreement, however: one Headphone Show review found vocals occasionally shouty and edgy, which limits its consistency across recordings.

Dynamics are repeatedly singled out as exceptional. Reviewers hear punchy, heavy yet articulate drum hits, fast snare attacks and an energetic sense of drive that sets it apart from many planar competitors; the reduced deepest-bass extension only slightly tempers ultimate slam.

Despite its large form factor, reviewers find the TWO GT tremendously comfortable. The deep, square pads avoid ear contact, clamp is said to be reduced versus the original, and the alternative pad materials allow owners to choose the more comfortable option without a meaningful sonic trade-off.

Reviewers describe the construction as solid, with a convincing mix of metal and plastic. Z Reviews particularly praises the finish and the sense of care in its assembly, while stopping short of treating it as something designed for rough handling.
