HEDD Audio HEDDphone® D1
HEDD Audio’s HEDDphone® D1 pairs an open-back platform with a dynamic carbon diaphragm, dual 3.5mm connections and velour pads. Sound on Sound notes the shift from AMT to a conventional moving-coil driver while retaining HEDD’s high-tech outlook; independently, Pragmatic Audio signals serious confidence by intending to buy its loan sample. At $800, it is a focused wired design worth attention.
