Grandinote MACH 9
Grandinote’s MACH 9 makes a striking case for lightning-fast transients and a room-disappearing soundstage. Its nine-woofer, 16-tweeter S.R.T. array and 99dB sensitivity promise serious scale, while Mono & Stereo found the carbon-fibre iteration notably quicker and more spatially elusive. This is an ambitious floorstander for listeners drawn to immediacy, openness and physical presence without sonic bulk.

What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 80/100
The available listening comments point to exceptionally quick transient behaviour and an ability to disappear into the room. There is no reviewer commentary on tonal balance through the bass, midrange, or treble, so the broader sonic picture remains incomplete.
Bass
75/100
Although the specifications promise unusually ambitious low-frequency reach, the supplied review excerpts do not describe bass weight, extension, control, or texture in listening terms. Reviewers therefore give little indication of how the MACH 9 performs with demanding low-bass material in a room.
Mid
75/100
The supplied review material does not directly address vocal realism, instrumental timbre, or crossover coherence. There is consequently little published evidence here about the character of the midrange.
Treble
75/100
No supplied excerpt discusses treble air, detail, refinement, brightness, or fatigue. The available coverage therefore provides little indication of the MACH 9's high-frequency balance.
Soundstage Imaging
90/100
Mono & Stereo highlights the MACH 9's ability to “disappear in space,” a strong indication that it can avoid sounding physically tied to its tall cabinets. That comment suggests an open, convincing presentation, though the excerpt does not elaborate on stage depth, image specificity, or placement requirements.
Dynamics
93/100
Mono & Stereo specifically praises the speaker's already fast attacks for gaining even more “lightning fast transients.” This points to a notably immediate, agile presentation with strong microdynamic expression.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
75/100
The specifications describe a very large, unusual S.R.T. design with a substantial driver array, but the supplied review excerpts do not assess cabinet finish, resonance control, terminals, or long-term craftsmanship. Reviewers say little about the physical execution beyond the design description.
Value for Money
85/100
At approximately €20,100, the MACH 9 competes in a demanding high-end floorstander market. None of the supplied reviews directly weighs in on whether its performance, construction, and distinctive design justify that asking price against rivals.

About S.R.T.
The Mach 9 is the pinnacle of Grandinote’s pursuit of pure, crossover-less sound. After years of experimentation, we created our own mechanically treated drivers—eliminating break-up without sacrificing musicality. This innovation allows the signal to remain completely free of electronic filters, preserving coherence, speed, and natural timbre.
Housed in our exclusive Semi Resonance Tube (S.R.T.) cabinet, the Mach 9 delivers bass that is impossibly deep, tight, and agile, unlike any reflex or transmission line design. Combined with silky highs and effortless spatiality, the result is a loudspeaker of extraordinary refinement—a true luxury instrument that brings music to life with unmatched realism and emotion.
