About Mach 4

Unlike conventional loudspeakers, all Mach models are completely free from crossovers or any equalization/correction elements. Each driver is a full-range unit, carefully engineered to deliver an unadulterated sound. The only exception is a subtle cut for the super tweeter, which cannot be called a crossover in the traditional sense, as it does not divide the audio signal into separate frequency ranges. By eliminating capacitive, inductive, or resistive components, the Mach 4 maintains a system impedance that closely matches the natural impedance of the free-air drivers. This ensures exceptional damping, stability, and a coherent, linear response.

Traditional crossovers often reduce the system’s minimal impedance dramatically—sometimes to a fraction of the nominal value—placing heavy demands on the amplifier. By contrast, the Mach 4 preserves an impedance extremely close to the driver’s own coil “Re,” providing an ideal environment for the amplifier to perform at its best. The result is a system with superior damping, minimal time distortion, and the absence of phase shifts, all of which contribute to extraordinary detail, speed, coherence, and spatiality.

After years of experimentation, we created our own mechanically treated drivers—eliminating break-up without sacrificing musicality. This innovation allows the signal to remain completely free of electronic filters, preserving coherence, speed, and natural timbre.
