Pros
Tight, extended and highly punchy bass delivers real impact without overwhelming the midrange.
Excellent detail retrieval and dynamic attack keep dense arrangements clear, textured and engaging.
Premium metal-and-leather construction, strong passive isolation and easy-to-drive sensitivity make it a versatile closed-back option.
Cons
The soundstage is intimate rather than expansive, with less air and spatial breadth than leading open-back alternatives.
The supplied 1.2m single-ended cable is awkwardly short for many home setups, and no longer or balanced cable is included.
Its secure clamp and 430g weight can create jaw pressure or a crown hotspot for some listeners during long sessions.

What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 88/100
The Celestee is widely heard as a lively, balanced and warmly musical closed-back headphone, combining strong bass punch with clear vocals and substantial detail. Its main limitation is spatial: imaging is precise, but the presentation is intimate and several reviewers wanted more openness and air.
Bass
91/100
Reviewers consistently praise the deep extension, tight control and physical punch of the low end. There is a modest mid-bass warmth, but it is generally considered tasteful and engaging rather than bloated; a few listeners simply wanted more bass quantity.
Midrange
87/100
Vocals and acoustic instruments are often described as natural, clear and textured, with especially strong male-vocal weight and female-vocal clarity. Some reviewers hear a slightly thin, tinny or upper-mid-forward character, however, which can make longer sessions less relaxed with certain recordings or amplification.
Treble
88/100
The treble is widely considered detailed, crisp and controlled without relying on harsh brightness, helping the Celestee remain an easy long-term listen. There are occasional reports of reduced upper-treble air, a slight hard edge at high volume, or isolated peaks, but fatigue is not a common complaint.
Resolution Detail
91/100
Fine detail retrieval is a major strength, with reviewers hearing small instrumental textures, clear separation and a clean background without an artificially etched presentation. It does not match Focal's far pricier Stellia for microdetail, and one reviewer found transients somewhat soft, but the overall consensus remains strongly positive.
Soundstage Imaging
79/100
Image placement, layering and separation are regularly praised, allowing dense mixes to remain organized and easy to follow. The stage itself is consistently described as intimate or narrow for a premium headphone, with limited height and air; one reviewer found live recordings especially constrained.
Dynamics
91/100
The Celestee is frequently praised for speed, punch, slam and an energetic sense of attack, particularly through its bass and percussion. One notably dissenting review found the presentation flat and short on dynamism, but most reviewers describe it as lively, tight and highly engaging.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Comfort Fit
84/100
Deep, soft pads and effective weight distribution make the Celestee comfortable for many reviewers, with several specifically praising extended-session wear. At 430g it can create a crown hotspot, while the secure clamp can feel firm around the jaw or beneath the ears for some listeners.
Build Quality
93/100
Reviewers consistently describe the finish, materials and construction as luxurious, sturdy and exceptionally well executed. The aluminum structure, leather-covered contact surfaces, steel grilles and refined adjustment mechanism give it a notably premium feel, although one reviewer found it less rugged-feeling than its appearance suggests.
Features Usability
86/100
The detachable dual 3.5mm cable, included hard case and adapter make for a practical wired package, while high sensitivity makes the Celestee easy to use from portable devices. Passive isolation is repeatedly praised, though the supplied 1.2m cable is considered awkwardly short for home use and only one single-ended cable is included.
Value for Money
86/100
At roughly $990, the Celestee attracts sharply mixed value views. Several reviewers call it among the strongest closed-back options below $1,000 and a compelling alternative to more expensive models, while others argue that the price is difficult to justify against competing headphones.

Manufacturer's Description — Focal
Celestee's promise is to deliver a hi-fi listening experience without the disturbance of a noisy environment or the worry of disturbing your nearest neighbor. Thanks to its exclusive drivers, these headphones deliver uncompromising audio quality, with added isolation and comfort.
Precise hi-fi sound
Focal's loudspeakers guarantee excellent dynamics and sound precision, with excellent depth in the bass. Acoustic treatment has been applied to the earpieces to avoid resonance and perfect sound reproduction.
Comfort everywhere
The controlled geometry of the aluminum yoke hugs the head perfectly, while ensuring a custom fit. Memory-form earpads contribute to the comfort and isolation of the headphones: no outside noise disturbs your sound journey.
a unique finish
Celestee is finished in Navy Blue semi-aniline leather. A color as singular as it is modern, which, together with numerous Soft Copper details, gives the headphones a bright, refined touch.
Running-in
These headphones need a running-in period to reach full performance. This will happen naturally after several hours of listening. If you wish to accelerate the process, we recommend that you play the headphones for at least 24 hours at a relatively high volume level, on tracks rich in low frequencies. This will stabilize the loudspeakers and enable you to enjoy your headphones to the full.
Accessories
Celestee comes with a carrying case in the headphones' colors, and a cable suitable for both home and portable use. An optional stand is available for elegantly displaying the headphones at home.
