As its name suggests, the WARMER R2R DAC aims to infuse music

with an invitingly warm and beautiful tube sound.

From the mesmerizing sway of the vintage warm-hued VU meters to the golden pairing of R2R DAC and vacuum tubes, the WARMER R2R lets you sense the warmth of the music during every listening session.

24Bit R2R resistor arrays DAC

The star of the show is FIIO’s proprietary, four-way fully differential 24-bit R2R DAC, built with a total of 192 high-precision thin-film resistors (48 per channel) boasting 0.1% accuracy and an ultra-low drift of 30ppm. This gives the WARMER R2R its distinctly captivating sound signature.

Four JJ Electronic E88CC tubes

Powering the tube buffer stage are four brand-new JJ Electronic E88CC valves imported from Slovakia. The tubes are powered by a ±28V power supply and feature a long-lasting service life of 10000 hours. The core circuitry of the classic tube buffer preamplifier has been optimized to impart a sweet, organic tube flavor, giving your music a delightful richness and fullness.

JJ tubes and capacitors are prominent in high-end audio and guitar amps, being widely used in guitar and audio amplifiers, recording studio equipment, and audiophile gear.

LED backlit true mechanical VU meters

The retro warm-hued backlit true mechanical VU meter* is powered by a dedicated IC. When the music sounds, the meter moves in harmony, immersing you in your own exclusive music party. Don’t just listen to music, also see and feel the music.

*The VU meter pointers may show a deviation of up to ±1mm at the zero position, which is within the factory specification tolerance. Slight misalignment between the left and right pointers when returning to zero is a normal manufacturing phenomenon and does not affect actual usage.

For a better experience

The device uses a 46W low-noise, low-frequency toroidal audio linear transformer. Toroidal transformers have innate advantages: the toroidal core made with non-oriented silicon steel strips provides high efficiency and low eddy current loss, while the corner-free coils result in a more uniform magnetic field and less leakage. Thanks to this power supply, the WARMER R2R is fed clean power that allows it to produce pristine, immaculate sound.

NOS (non-oversampling) mode: Decodes while preserving the original sample rate, providing the allure of pristine, original audio. Indulge in a pure, captivating musical experience.

OS (oversampling mode): Globally upsamples to a sampling rate of 384kHz, for better audio performance and a more detailed, clear sound.
