FIIO QX13
Brings together over a decade of FIIO’s technical expertise
Combines the Q series of portable amps with magnetic/attachable features
Creating a high-end, fully integrated ecosystem audio dongle
Pushing the boundaries of what can be done – the QX13 is made with up to 21 layers of stacked carbon fiber for a lightweight yet durable build. The carbon fiber also allows it to be resistant to interference and heat, while featuring a unique texture and a premium feel.
*Carbon fiber is widely used in high-end products such as aviation, sports cars, and other items. It is light in weight, high in strength and stiffness, and resistant to corrosion. It has excellent properties and feels luxurious.
*To improve grip comfort and achieve a better visual effect, the surface of the carbon fiber version was processed with ultra-transparent UV varnish treatment. Please use the QX13 with the leather case to minimize scratches caused by friction with hard objects.
*There is an alternate aluminum alloy model with a laser-engraved back panel, with its simply elegant yet advanced look.
The QX13 features an extra-large color display outfitted with Corning third-gen high-strength glass for greater durability and scratch resistance, rare among audio dongles. Multiple newly developed personalized UI themes powered by a 32-bit processor ensure that the user experience is unrivaled among audio dongles, making it just right for you whether in portrait or landscape mode.
The chip features a fully differential audio architecture design with 8 channels set up in parallel, and is paired with a pair of ultra-low-noise ES9312 regulators for precise output matching on each audio channel. Audio signals are accurately restored thanks to this pair of chips’ optimized power efficiency and effectiveness in reducing clock jitter.
*The ESS SABRE PRO series of DAC chips are mainly used in high-end audio systems and professional audio gear. The first generation of products included the flagship ES9038PRO, and the second generation of products included the new flagship ES9039PRO and EES9027PRO.
The QX13 uses four wafer-level precision-integrated INA1620 chips, with a specially designed internal layout to significantly reduce crosstalk – for no interference between channels even under extreme conditions. Additionally, two low-noise, low-distortion OPA1692 chips are employed to ensure excellent dynamics under various load conditions.
Adaptive regulation
Balancing performance
and power consumption
Thanks to its new configuration, optimized audio circuit, and more efficient heat dissipation, the QX13 in desktop mode can deliver power comparable to full-size headphone amplifiers while also significantly reducing power consumption. It also features a high- precision power meter, capable of accurately assessing the power supply capabilities of different USB sources and intelligently adjusting accordingly the headphone amplifier’s gain and output power.
Patent no:ZL202321946664.8
The digital and analog boards are separated and equipped with a shielding cover for isolation, ensuring precise and dynamic signal processing. This design also effectively absorbs and dissipates heat, enabling effective thermal management and ensuring the QX13 delivers sustained high-power output.
The QX13 has pro-grade USB Audio quality, with high performance, low latency, and support of up to 768Khz/32bit PCM and DSD512 native decoding. Dual ultra-low phase noise, low temperature drift femtosecond crystal oscillators ensure that audio of various sampling rates is correctly handled for the best sound quality. The XMOS XU316 also allows for a 10-band lossless PEQ, which can be tuned either via the Android FiiO Control app or through the web, making it easy to dial in your sound.
*Web PEQ location: Top bar of FIIO website – Support – Web-based PEQ settings
*When PEQ is turned on, the max sampling rate supported PEQ adjustment is PCM 192kHz/24bit
The QX13 condenses audio architecture design found in fairly high-end DAC and headphone amplifiers into a small dongle. The QX13 with its design achieves high-precision conversion of audio signals to the DAC thanks to dual crystal oscillators. The audio signal goes through multiple stages of analog processing—including LPF voltage amplification, BUF current boosting, and parallel-enhanced current expansion—delivering sound quality comparable to that of professional DAC and headphone amplifiers.
It is compatible with the ESTICK mini power banks, allowing you to travel light while still having powerful audio output. Turn on the charging function to allow it to be charged by the ESTICK, and you have a mini desktop-grade audio setup.
The included magnetic leather case achieves perfect alignment for an iPhone. For Android devices, the included magnetic ring can be used to achieve the same result.
Comes standard with an 8-strand decoding cable – 6 strands of monocrystalline copper + 2 strands of silver-plated monocrystalline copper, giving pure high-fidelity sound.
