Salvaged Heart Pine LP Stand—Limited Run

This limited run of our new LP stands is made from salvaged Heart Pine beams pulled out of old industrial buildings that were the foundation of American manufacturing.

This "old growth" material was in buildings for a long time (80-120 years) and was in the ground as a tree for a long time before that. We have always loved this material for its history and beauty.

Making new products with salvaged materials gives us a direct and tactile connection to the past. To be something that displays the artwork of one's favorite albums seems like a perfect use for this material.

Note: As a result of the original whale oil treatment to the Heart Pine the LP Stand material may release oil on porous surfaces if left in contact for extended periods.
