Each piece of the tuning filter 2A-001 consists of two different woven meshes with selected porosity, which results in improved details, transient response and a slightly forward midrange compared to the default tuning filter. This makes the ES-2a more closely resemble the original Omega.

The filter of the ES-2a can be swapped directly without needing to dismantle the earpad.
