Pros
Exceptionally deep, powerful bass remains clean, controlled and low in compression at high levels.
Open, detailed JET treble and seamless coaxial mid/treble integration produce natural vocals and convincing instrumental timbres.
Expansive, immersive imaging projects well beyond the cabinets, with strong focus and realistic scale.
Interchangeable Directivity Control Rings help tailor midrange dispersion to room size and listening distance.
Cons
The rich, warm tonal balance is not strictly neutral and may not suit listeners seeking an uncoloured reference presentation.
Bass output can be excessive without careful spike use and room placement, and the speaker benefits from a powerful, stable amplifier.

What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 96/100
Reviewers describe a richly voiced but controlled loudspeaker that combines exceptional resolution with convincing tonal body and realism. Its deep, disciplined bass, seamless driver integration, expansive imaging and effortless high-level composure make it especially persuasive with large-scale music and demanding recordings.
Bass
97/100
Bass is a major strength. HiFi.nl highlights its impact and control, while Lite MAGAZIN reports extremely deep, powerful low frequencies that remain clean, outlined and free of compression even as levels rise. The presentation has genuine physical weight without sacrificing definition.
Mid
95/100
The midrange is praised for tonal density, convincing timbres and a strong sense of musical presence. Both reviews point to excellent coherence: HiFi.nl finds the driver transition exceptionally smooth, while Lite MAGAZIN hears precise, punchy and clearly articulated instrumental detail.
Treble
96/100
The JET tweeter is consistently described as open, fast, refined and highly detailed. HiFi.nl notes added air and definition without excess richness, and Lite MAGAZIN praises the speaker's ability to track the attack, decay and tonal shimmer of metallic sounds with precision.
Soundstage Imaging
96/100
Both publications hear a large, open and highly three-dimensional stage that extends well beyond the cabinets. Images are described as focused, physically present and realistic, with orchestral sections remaining easy to locate while still forming a coherent whole.
Dynamics
96/100
The S 507 is repeatedly characterized as fast, lively and stable under pressure. Reviewers cite explosive guitar attacks and drums, strong musical momentum, low distortion at very high volumes, and a scale that suits powerful orchestral and rock material.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
91/100
Lite MAGAZIN explicitly calls the workmanship first-class. The review material says little about long-term durability or cabinet-resonance testing, but the available assessment is clearly positive.
Value for Money
88/100
At €7,699, this is an unapologetically premium floorstander, but HiFi.nl considers its fun, dynamic stability and musical persuasiveness wonderful even at the asking price. Lite MAGAZIN's overall price/performance verdict is positive, suggesting the cost is broadly justified by the performance.
