The SC5 is a sophisticated DSP based sinewave generator with amplitude and frequency control. This enables state-of-the-art performance and purity of the generated sine wave. It is the ultimate in AC motor speed control.

The SC5 is the top of our range of single phase AC speed controllers and has a separate PSU for the generator and another for the drive circuit, this ensures that there is no interaction between the two stages resulting in lower noise and distortion. The generated frequency uses the latest floating point mathematical DSP process to generate a pure sine wave of whatever desired frequency, the very finest step in resolution possible from the output frequency is 0.25Hz or 1 quarter of 1 Hertz. This allows for the most accurate control of speed available on the market. This can be independently set in memory for both 33.3 RPM and 45RPM. The output voltage is also internally adjustable and when supplied with a TT as a package it has been pre-set at the factory to be optimal for the motor and turntable as a whole, the speed is also accurately set.

The SC5 is also compatible with any 24V AC motor driven TT and is plug and play with the Rega RP1/RP2/RP3
