Pros
Warm, controlled bass delivers convincing impact and sub-bass rumble without becoming boomy.
Comfortable for extended listening, with ANC that performs well against steady low-frequency noise such as engines and fans.
Impressive overall resolution and engaging sound quality for an affordable true-wireless earbud.
Cons
ANC is less effective against abrupt and high-pitched noises.
Included ear tips may be too small for some listeners; larger third-party tips may not fit properly in the charging case.
Laid-back treble does not reveal the finest microdetails, and mild bass bleed adds coloration to the midrange.

What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 87/100
Review coverage describes an engaging, warmly balanced consumer tuning with satisfying bass impact, capable detail, and a smooth top end. The main tonal caveat is mild bass bleed that adds warmth to the midrange, while spatial presentation and dynamic behavior receive little direct discussion.
Bass
89/100
The bass is described as warm and enhanced without becoming boomy, with good impact and audible sub-bass rumble. Reviewers found it satisfying and energetic rather than excessive.
Midrange
86/100
There is some bass coloration and bleed into the midrange, which gives vocals and instruments extra warmth. The reviewer says this does not make the mids thick or congested, and that they still handle material well.
Treble
86/100
The upper range is deliberately laid-back and avoids sharpness, making the presentation easygoing for long listening. Detail retrieval remains capable, though it does not expose every last microdetail.
Resolution Separation
89/100
Overall resolution is specifically described as impressive for the price. The review also finds the sound quality notably strong for an affordable true-wireless model.
Soundstage Imaging
84/100
The review does not directly assess stage width, depth, or image placement. Its positive comments on the overall engaging sound suggest no obvious spatial complaint, but detailed spatial evidence is limited.
Dynamics Coherence
84/100
Good bass impact and an engaging signature point to a lively overall presentation. The review says little about large-scale swings, transient precision, or behavior in especially demanding mixes.
FIT COMFORT ISOLATION PERFORMANCE 88/100
The X5 Pro is reported to be comfortable over extended sessions, while its noise cancelling is particularly effective against steady low-frequency sounds such as engines, fans, and air conditioners. A proper ear-tip fit remains important for realizing the intended bass response.
Seal Stability
85/100
The reviewer stresses that a proper ear-tip fit is necessary to obtain the intended bass response. There is no reported recurring seal failure, but fit choice clearly has an audible effect on the tuning.
Comfort
91/100
The earbuds are described as very comfortable and suitable for long listening periods. No pressure points, fatigue, or shell-fit concerns are reported.
Isolation
90/100
Noise cancelling is described as working very well with engine noise, fans, and air conditioners. It is less effective against abrupt or high-pitched sounds, which is a common limitation for this type of ANC.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Accessories
84/100
The supplied review says little about long-term shell durability, cable-free charging-case construction, controls, or included accessories. Edifier lists IP55 protection, USB-C charging, Bluetooth 5.3, and approximately seven hours of earbud playback with ANC off, or five hours with ANC on.
Value for Money
95/100
At roughly $39.99, and reportedly available for about $34, the X5 Pro receives emphatic value praise. The reviewer calls it a favorite sub-$50 Edifier true-wireless model and encourages budget buyers to pick it up at the lower sale price.
