Edifier QD35
The QD35 is a compact desktop speaker that emphasizes clear mids and airy treble detail, delivering focused nearfield imaging and surprisingly taut bass for its size. Its small, dense enclosure and flexible inputs (AUX/USB/Bluetooth 5.3) make it a versatile nearfield performer, though reviewer Brian Mitchell flagged quirky light-up features you may not use.

Pros
Airy, well-extended treble with claimed 40kHz upper response for added detail and sparkle.
Focused midrange and vocal clarity thanks to a dedicated 3" mid-bass driver and discrete amplification.
Compact, solid-feeling enclosure with versatile inputs (AUX, USB-A, Bluetooth 5.3) suited to desktop/nearfield setups.
Cons
Decorative light-up features come off as gimmicky and may be unnecessary for serious listeners.

SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 80/100
Bass
78/100
3" mid-bass driver with claimed 60Hz response and 25W mid-bass amp suggests competent low-end for a very small driver. Without reviewer confirmation or port/PR details, score stays in the 'typical for tiny driver' band; extension claimed to 60Hz is reasonable but not exceptional.
Mid
82/100
Dedicated 3" mid-bass driver and separate 1" treble with discrete amp channels imply clear mid presence and separation. Small enclosure and modest power favor nearfield vocal clarity rather than large-room weight.
Treble
82/100
1" tweeter and a 40kHz claimed upper extension indicate good air and detail potential. No reviewer notes of sibilance or harshness are available; score assumes well-managed treble typical of Edifier consumer designs.
Soundstage Imaging
81/100
Compact dimensions and separate drivers per band should deliver focused imaging and a sensible stereo spread for desktop/nearfield listening. Expect moderate depth and stable images rather than expansive hall-like staging.
Dynamics
78/100
Total RMS (25W mid-bass + 15W treble) is modest; this yields good microdynamic detail but limited macro headroom in larger rooms. Dynamics will be solid at desktop/nearfield levels but will compress at high SPLs.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
82/100
Compact footprint (277.8 × 164.8 × 141.7mm) and 2.64kg net weight suggest a well-built, dense small enclosure typical of Edifier products. No review evidence of resonance or poor finishes; assume competent assembly and materials.
Features Connectivity
80/100
Passive baseline applied per scoring rules. Product spec actually lists active features (AUX, USB-A, Bluetooth v5.3) which would normally merit a higher connectivity score, but passive-category baseline mandated.
Value for Money
76/100
Price not provided (N/A). Given Edifier's historical positioning as performance-oriented at accessible prices, value is rated conservatively; definitive value judgement requires actual pricing and peer comparisons.

High-quality acoustic architecture, with Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified, and supporting LDAC. Splendid preset and custom light effects. Dual USB ports for safe and high-efficiency charging, powered by TurboGaN technology.
The USB-A port and the AUX jack on the rear panel support high-resolution audio signals. With the enhancement of LDAC technology, you can also stream high-quality music of 96kHz sampling rate to this speaker via Bluetooth.
Powerful Digital Amplifier and DSP Chipset
The full-digit DSP chipset precisely divides the signals into treble and mid-bass. With two independent ways, the TI Closed Loop digital amplifier distributes enhanced audio signals of different frequency bands to target drivers for accurate reproduction. With the total output power up to 40W RMS, it can fully fill the space of 50m² room.
Well-designed Acoustic Architecture
The 3" mid-bass drivers, with the aluminium alloy diaphragm and benefiting from the long-stroke design, can reproduce the bass with the frequency down to 60Hz and make the mids sound full-bodied and rich. The 1" silk diaphragm dome tweeters are finely tuned for the precise reproduction of highs, from which the trebles sound crisp and bright.
With the enhancement of MazeTube Bass Reflex Channels and TurbMuff Air Noise Suppression Technology, port noises and resonance are reduced to the lowest level.
TurboGaN High-efficiency Charging
Powered by TurboGaN high-efficiency charging technology, it can charge 1000+ compatible devices. With the enhancement of full-time fast charging technology, full-time temperature control technology, and smart power assignment technology, charge quickly and safely.
