Deep, well-controlled bass and smooth, clear treble that avoids harshness.
ANC is effective without noticeably veiling the sound, and the EQ makes meaningful tuning improvements.
Six supplied ear-tip sizes help listeners achieve a reliable seal.

Treble extension and air are only moderate, leaving cymbals somewhat under-resolved.
Touch controls can be finicky, and occasional charging or connection issues were reported.

What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 83/100
The NeoBuds S delivers a spacious, energetic V-shaped presentation with notably deep, controlled bass and an unusually large perceived stage for a true-wireless design. Its tonal balance is adjustable through useful EQ controls, but the default tuning can leave lower mids recessed, upper mids forceful, and treble air limited.
Bass
87/100
SoundStage Solo found the bass deep, huge, and better controlled than that of most earphones, without boominess. Ecoustics likewise heard good sub-bass extension, texture, and definition, though its pronounced mid-bass can bleed into the mids and could decay faster.
Midrange
78/100
Ecoustics describes the lower midrange as obscured by bass bleed and male vocals as somewhat recessed in the default tuning. Female vocals are more forward, but can become hard on poorer recordings unless EQ and volume are managed; SoundStage Solo also felt a vocal could have been more forward.
Treble
80/100
SoundStage Solo praised a smooth, clear, detailed treble that remained lifelike on potentially piercing strings and avoided harshness. Ecoustics heard a strong lower-treble rise followed by only moderate extension, with cymbals lacking some air and fine detail.
Resolution Separation
84/100
SoundStage Solo found percussion detailed and vocals intelligible rather than lost in the mix. Ecoustics notes useful bass texture and detail, although the heavy default low end can cloud the lower midrange until adjusted.
Soundstage Imaging
92/100
SoundStage Solo was particularly enthusiastic about the spatial presentation, describing an enormous stage that expands beyond the listener's head. The effect made recordings feel like they occupied an external space rather than remaining confined inside the head.
Dynamics Coherence
79/100
The NeoBuds S has strong low-end impact and crisp percussion snap, giving it an energetic character. However, Ecoustics found the default V-shaped balance pronounced, with bass bleed and slower upper-bass decay reducing tonal integration; the available EQ helps considerably.
FIT COMFORT ISOLATION PERFORMANCE 86/100
Six tip sizes make obtaining a seal relatively straightforward, and the active noise cancellation was praised as unusually effective without noticeably dulling the sound. Passive isolation is more ordinary, and the shells may shift during strenuous activity.
Seal Stability
87/100
Ecoustics had very little difficulty finding a secure seal, specifically crediting the six included tip sizes. That breadth of sizing should help many listeners optimize bass response and everyday fit, although strenuous exercise can introduce some movement.
Comfort
83/100
The reviews do not provide extensive long-session comfort commentary. Ecoustics reports some movement during strenuous exercise, but did not describe major pressure points or difficulty wearing the earbuds in ordinary use.
Isolation
87/100
Passive isolation is described as average, but the ANC impressed both reviewers. SoundStage Solo considered it more effective than the majority of noise-cancelling earbuds, while Ecoustics found that it worked without putting a veil over the sound and also praised the usable Ambient mode.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Accessories
87/100
The package includes six color-coded silicone tip sizes, a USB charging cable, carrying pouch, and charging case; the generous tip selection is particularly useful for fit. The IP54 rating adds practical dust and water resistance, though the reviews say little about long-term shell, cable, or case durability.
Value for Money
81/100
SoundStage Solo considered the NeoBuds S reasonably priced and praised the combination of sound and noise cancellation. Ecoustics is less convinced, arguing that the lower-priced NeoBuds Pro offers many of the same features and that the Snapdragon Sound advantage is not yet broadly usable across source devices.
