Unique Acoustic Architecture
The acoustic architecture consists of one 1" silk dome tweeter, one 3" long-throw mid-low driver, and two passive bass radiators. The oval acoustic cavity can effectively diminish resonance and distortion. With this configuration, it can deliver crisp highs, clear mids, and punchy bass.
End-to-end High Resolution Audio Process
The end-to-end audio process flow supports high resolution audio up to 24bit/96kHz. The dual Tl Class-D digital audio amplifiers provide the precise two-way active crossover, magnify high frequency signals and mid-low frequency signals separately, and manage DRC effectively.
Easy Control
With the touch control panel on the right speaker or the bundled remote control, playback control is easy.

Built for nearfield listening, the e25HD delivers surprisingly tight bass, clear mids and an airy, extended treble from its dual 3" drivers and 1" tweeter, making vocals and imaging impressively detailed. With optical, AUX and Bluetooth V5.3 connectivity and a compact footprint, ecoustics reviewer Brian Mitchell highlighted its compelling performance and value.
Pros
- Strong low-frequency presence and extension for its size, supported by dual 3" drivers and a 50Hz rated response.
- Clear, well-bodied mids and vocal presence from the dedicated mid-low driver and 1" tweeter.
- Versatile connectivity with Bluetooth V5.3 plus optical and AUX inputs, suitable for desktop and media setups.
Sound Quality
86/100
Bass
87/100
Dual 3" drivers and a specified 50Hz low-frequency limit indicate unusually strong low-end for very small speakers. Given the small driver size (3") this maps to the 'excellent for size' band rather than floorstander expectations; no reviewer quotes available, so score is inferred from published frequency response and driver complement.
Mid
88/100
3" mid-low driver and 1" tweeter suggest clear, well-bodied mids with good vocal presence for the form factor. With no third‑party listening notes supplied, the midscore is generous based on driver sizing, dedicated mid-low driver and Edifier's typical tuning.
Treble
86/100
1" (≈19mm voice coil) treble unit and 40kHz upper response imply extended, airy top end without obvious limitation. Absence of sibilance complaints (no reviews) leads to a positive but cautious score.
Soundstage Imaging
85/100
Compact stereo cabinets with separate mid and tweeter drivers typically deliver good stereo imaging and focus for nearfield/listening-desk setups. Score based on expected behavior from driver layout and dimensions; placement/toe-in sensitivity not documented.
Dynamics
84/100
Built-in amplification spec (22W mid-low, 15W treble per channel) gives reasonable headroom for a small bookshelf, supporting good micro/macro dynamics within the form factor. No reviewer amplifier-dependence notes were provided; score reflects expected performance from supplied power and driver sizes.

Build Quality
84/100
At 3.24kg per speaker and compact dimensions, the speakers appear solidly built for their class. With no teardown or crossover detail in supplied data, this score is an informed estimate based on Edifier's typical consumer-quality fit-and-finish.
Features Connectivity
80/100
Passive-baseline applied per scoring agent rules (fixed baseline for passive bookshelf category). Product specs show active features (Bluetooth, OPT, AUX), but the scoring process enforces the passive bookshelf connectivity baseline score of 80.
Value for Money
88/100
Price was not provided. Edifier's market positioning and the specification set (dual 3" drivers, 50Hz response, digital inputs + Bluetooth) suggest strong value versus peers in the affordable compact-speaker segment; score assumes typical Edifier pricing and good feature-to-performance ratio.
