Dunu Falcon Ultra

Reviewers repeatedly highlight its mid-bass-driven slam, weight, speed, texture, and visceral impact as a standout strength. Sub-bass reaches respectably deep but is less emphasized, with several reviewers wanting a little more low-end authority, rumble, or texture; one reviewer also hears some lower-mid bleed.

Vocals and instruments are widely praised for natural timbre, satisfying note weight, clarity, and a rich but articulate presentation. The tuning is not midrange-forward, and the elevated bass can add warmth to the lower mids, but reviewers generally find that it avoids sounding recessed or overly clinical.

Treble is regarded as smooth, even, energetic, and well controlled, with useful air and above-average extension rather than exaggerated brilliance. The interchangeable nozzles let listeners choose a warmer, smoother gold presentation or a more forward and slightly edgier blue option; ultimate extension and layering are not at flagship level.

Reviews commend the Falcon Ultra's clean instrument separation, micro-contrast, and ability to retain natural body rather than forcing detail through a sharp analytical tuning. Detail retrieval is above average, although Audio-In Reviews does not consider it the strongest performer in its price bracket.

Imaging, focus, depth layering, and instrument placement receive consistent praise for sounding natural and believable. Stage width is generally described as average or ordinary rather than unusually expansive or holographic, though the blue nozzle adds a little more air and perceived space.

The single driver is repeatedly praised for lively dynamics, speed, physicality, and emotional impact, especially on energetic material. Reviewers describe a cohesive, richly weighted presentation that remains agile rather than getting congested on fast tracks.

Reviewers report good fit stability, with one finding it improved over the average dynamic-driver IEM and another achieving an excellent seal using the included S&S tips. The extended, angled nozzles are also said to fit securely, although proper tip choice remains important for realizing the intended tuning.

Multiple reviewers call the Falcon Ultra very comfortable, including during longer sessions, and the metal shells are not generally reported as feeling heavy in use. Super* Review is the main caveat, reporting that the shell join became noticeable after roughly 30 to 40 minutes.

Passive isolation is repeatedly characterized as average for this type of dynamic-driver IEM rather than especially strong. Reviewers still consider it sufficient for everyday outdoor listening and commuting.

The metal shells receive strong construction praise, with Prime Audio Reviews calling build quality exceptional and Audio-In noting the cast-and-CNC-machined structure and polished blue finish. The package is particularly useful: it includes a larger protective case, a modular cable with 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm terminations, and an unusually broad 13-pair, four-style tip selection; the cable is slightly stiff and prone to kinking for one reviewer.

At roughly $240 to $249, reviewers generally consider the Falcon Ultra a solid offering, particularly for listeners wanting a refined single dynamic driver with a complete accessory package. The value case is moderated by Super* Review, who finds it somewhat overpriced at $240 despite enjoying the sound, while Audio-In calls it a favorite dynamic-driver IEM under $300.
