What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 89/100
The Navigator is described as a highly accomplished dongle with a clear, spacious presentation, unusually textured bass and very well-controlled treble. It also appears to retain its composure with demanding planar headphones, although the available review does not address background noise.
Transparency Resolution
91/100
The reviewer calls resolution impressive and says it matches other flagship dongles. Layering and separation are singled out as longstanding DITA strengths, while the pairing with the HiFiMAN Arya Organic is said to sound airy and stunning.
Tonal Balance Musicality
92/100
Bass carries a noticeable sub-bass lift, but is described as clear, snappy and exceptionally well textured rather than bloated. The midrange is called linear and uncoloured, while the airy treble has rounded edges that avoid overt brightness.
Dynamics
91/100
With the Arya Organic planar, the Navigator is said to play with absolute finesse, retaining bass speed and texture without anything seeming lacking. That report suggests convincing control and drive from a compact USB-powered device.
Noise Floor
80/100
The review does not specifically discuss hiss, hum or silence with sensitive IEMs. There is therefore little direct evidence on how quiet the Navigator is with very efficient earphones.
Headphone Compatibility
90/100
The Navigator is available with both 3.5 mm single-ended and 4.4 mm balanced headphone outputs. Most notably, the reviewer found it fully capable with the demanding Arya Organic planar, reporting no shortfall in bass texture, speed or overall performance.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
95/100
Construction receives emphatic praise: the reviewer calls it overbuilt, tank-like and exceptionally premium for a dongle. No long-term durability findings are provided, but the immediate impression of materials and execution is outstanding.
Features Usability
88/100
This is a compact USB-C dongle DAC/amp with both 3.5 mm single-ended and 4.4 mm balanced outputs, giving it useful flexibility for portable headphone and IEM use. The review provides little information on gain controls, operating-system support, physical controls or additional digital connectivity.
Value for Money
93/100
At $299, the reviewer says they initially expected the Navigator to cost around $600 and expresses clear surprise that DITA priced it at only $300. Its premium construction, flagship-dongle resolution and convincing planar performance make that asking price sound especially compelling.
