What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 92/100
The Krypton 10 is described as a neutral, highly transparent and detailed loudspeaker with the scale and low-frequency authority expected of a substantial three-way design. Reviewers also highlight fast attacks, wide dynamic headroom, and a large, precisely focused presentation when the speakers are carefully positioned.
Bass
94/100
Stereo.ru found the dual woofers capable of handling double-bass fundamentals with ease, naturalness, and no apparent coloration or exaggeration. Best of High End likewise characterises the low end as powerful and authoritative while remaining clear and controlled rather than muddy.
Mid
90/100
The overall presentation is described by Stereo.ru as neutral and almost monitor-like, with little added character from the speaker itself. Best of High End specifically praises a realistic and detailed midrange, supporting the impression of clear, faithful vocal and instrumental reproduction.
Treble
89/100
Stereo.ru reports unusually high detail retrieval, including subtle studio and recording details in quiet passages. Best of High End describes the upper frequencies as realistic and detailed, although neither review offers extensive discussion of treble character with difficult or bright recordings.
Soundstage Imaging
92/100
Stereo.ru found that slight toe-in produced an especially convincing balance of stage width and depth, with holographic image precision. The same review calls the presentation large-scale, while Best of High End describes an immersive, concert-hall-like experience.
Dynamics
93/100
Attacks are described as fast and precise, giving rhythmic material a clean leading edge. Stereo.ru also reports considerable dynamic range with no noticeable limitations on Japanese drums and uncompressed orchestral recordings, even requiring occasional volume adjustments.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
88/100
Reviewers describe the design as thoughtful, with an unconventional colour palette and a visually appealing finish. Best of High End says that the components have been carefully reconsidered and presents the Krypton 10 as a well-executed step between Davis Acoustics' Ariane and Courbet ranges, though detailed cabinet-resonance or long-term durability assessment is limited.
Value for Money
92/100
At around 2,350, the Krypton 10 earns explicit praise for its price-to-performance relationship. Stereo.ru calls that relationship attractive, and Best of High End describes the series as offering an unequaled price/performance ratio while retaining a high standard of sound and finish.
