What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 89/100
The available reviews are uniformly enthusiastic about the NEXT's sound: Headphonesty calls Cleer's ambitious headphone-audio goal a success, while HIFI Trends describes the audio quality as remarkable. They offer little frequency-by-frequency or spatial analysis, however, so the finer aspects of its presentation are less clearly documented.
Bass
88/100
The reviews praise the NEXT's overall audio performance but provide no direct comments on bass extension, impact, or control. Nothing in the available coverage suggests a bass-related weakness.
Midrange
90/100
Broad sound-quality praise indicates a convincing and accomplished presentation, but the reviews do not specifically assess vocals, instrumental timbre, or midrange presence. More detailed listening commentary would be needed to characterize its tonal balance precisely.
Treble
88/100
Reviewers call the sound impressive and remarkable overall, though they do not directly discuss treble air, smoothness, brightness, or fatigue. There are no reported concerns about harshness or sibilance in the supplied coverage.
Resolution Detail
90/100
The strong overall sound assessments point to a notably capable presentation, consistent with the product's flagship positioning. Still, the reviews supplied do not explicitly describe low-level detail retrieval, separation, or transparency.
Soundstage Imaging
87/100
As an open-back circumaural design, the NEXT is intended for spacious listening, but the supplied reviews do not directly evaluate stage dimensions, image placement, or layering. The available praise is general rather than spatially specific.
Dynamics
88/100
The reviews convey an energetic, high-performing overall sonic impression, but say little about transient attack, punch, slam, or microdynamic expression. No reviewer identifies dynamics as a shortcoming.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Comfort Fit
80/100
The supplied reviews do not offer meaningful comments on clamp force, pad comfort, heat, or long-session wearability. At 395g, prospective owners may want to seek further fit impressions before buying, but weight alone does not establish comfort.
Build Quality
87/100
HIFI Trends specifically characterizes the NEXT as having a premium build, and the product is presented as Cleer's flagship open-back circumaural headphone. The reviews say little about long-term durability, adjustment hardware, or the resilience of wear components.
Features Usability
82/100
This is a straightforward wired audiophile headphone supplied with a LEMO cable, 6.3mm adapter, and carrying pouch. The provided coverage identifies no major ownership or usability problems, although it does not discuss pad replacement, cable availability, or everyday ergonomics in depth.
Value for Money
85/100
The NEXT is listed at roughly $699/£699, placing it in a competitive premium wired-headphone segment. None of the supplied reviews directly judges whether it outperforms similarly priced alternatives or fully justifies its asking price.
