Our new Liszt II is another new model of the static-series like our Wagner and Beethoven II. There is no need for external basshorns, because those are all built in the complicated cabinet design. Made from our plywood/composite material in order to get a quiet basement for our system. Performance from the highest treble to the lowest bass, driven from two 12“ Bass units on a front loaded horn. Up from 80 Hz the system plays passive, below we implement the same amp. as Beta II or Gamma II to drive the 12“ units. All the records that you know will be transformed into something special. You have to hear it by yourself to understand what we are talking about.
The Cessaro Liszt II is a 4-way horn loudspeaker system:
Two frontloaded 12" bass drive units, driven by special solidstate power amps with huge 1200 W transformers each
sealed box with 11" Alnico driver
Our new spherical composite horn with extremely powerful 2" TAD-compression driver
Modified TAD compression drive unit with beryllium diaphragm and cobalt magnet.
When it comes to drivers our quality standard is the Japanese top manufacturer TAD. Even if TAD drivers are only rarely used nowadays because of their pricing structure, they are without an alternative for the technical realization of our acoustical demands.
TAD drivers with their beryllium diaphragm offer the benefit to react twice as fast as other diaphragm materials. Also it is light and stable like no other material. Because of the rapidity acoustical details can be reproduced, that couldn't be heard otherwise. Speakers with beryllium diaphragm also react significantly more impulsive.
