Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
95/100
Hifi Statement calls the compact, nearly 14kg Cayin “impeccably made,” noting that nothing rattles, there are no sharp edges, and the removable tube cage fits precisely. The reviewer also praises the largely point-to-point internal wiring as very well executed from a craftsmanship standpoint.
Features Connectivity
82/100
Bluetooth connectivity is confirmed, with support for UAT, LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs; LDAC is especially useful for higher-quality wireless playback from compatible devices. The supplied material does not document the amplifier's wired inputs, outputs, phono provision, headphone facilities, or remote-control functions.
Value for Money
94/100
At a stated price range of roughly $1,495–$1,698, Hifi Statement considers the effort and manufacturing quality to exceed expectations. The reviewer says this level of execution is rarely found elsewhere at the price, making build-led value a clear strength.
