B 30

The golden mean

He who says A, must also say B we thought: it was time to launch the new B speaker series, which complements our successful A models and just like them is offered exclusively in our online store. Our brand new B series not only looks beguilingly good, it also scores with a quite outstanding price/performance ratio. The passive compact speaker B 30 is a shapely 2-way speaker that feels at home in any living environment with its harmonious proportions and small dimensions. Our smallest speaker in the B series is a full-fledged stereo speaker that will spoil you with the unique Canton sound. It harmonizes ideally with its larger siblings, the B 50 center and the B 100 floorstanding speaker. The B Series speakers become a powerful and magnificent sounding home theater system when expanded with the highly dynamic SUB 12 R subwoofer.

Modern classic

With their well-proportioned housings and noble surfaces in high-gloss lacquer, the B 30 flatter the eyes of the beholder. With their simply elegant design, the immaculately applied lacquer surfaces in black or white and the front design without visible screw connections, the B 30 are a true adornment for any living ambience. The timelessly designed compact speakers spoil with the best HiFi sound and feel at home on a shelf or on a rack. Alternatively, the B 30s are perfectly presented both visually and acoustically on the LS 300 stands designed for this purpose. Included with the speakers are shapely and magnetically holding fabric covers: should you ever be tempted to want to give the B 30 an even more discreet appearance.

Well selected

Our developers have selected the best proven technology from the Canton shelves for the B 30 compact speakers. This makes them a top favorite right off the bat if you're looking for a well-engineered speaker that will impress you technically and sonically. The titanium cone for the bass-midrange driver is lightweight yet very strong, which allows the compact speaker to play with a high degree of impulse fidelity. Thanks to the suspension in the triple folded wave surround, dynamic and low-distortion playing is also assured with the B 30. With its 174 mm bass-midrange driver, the compact speaker reproduces precise and crisp bass - with considerable low end. The balanced and detailed mids are harmoniously rounded off by our accurately resolving 25 mm tweeter with strong drive and ceramic dome. To optimize sound dispersion, the tweeter takes advantage of the acoustically conducive properties of our Transmission Front Plate.

High quality equipment

We equip our B 30 with a gold-plated connector terminal that ensures optimal signal transmission to the connected amplifier. For a perfect connection with your amplifier, you can use the CantoLink 400 speaker cable, which is available in our online store. It is a six-core high-end speaker cable developed by us with a special core and jacket - for the best possible sound quality. The high-quality and acoustically neutral fabric cover in black hides the direct view of the technology if desired and holds elegantly by magnetic fastening on the baffle.
