Cabasse Compact Design
Surprisingly deep, controlled bass and precise midrange give the Pearl Myuki an impressively musical, room-ready sound for its compact size, according to Robert Silva. Its combination of deep bass, automatic room calibration and high-resolution audio streaming pairs with extensive connectivity and a 12‑hour battery, making this compact speaker both studio-capable and genuinely portable.

SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 88/100
Bass
88/100
Dual 12 cm (4.72") woofers with a claimed 30 Hz extension and 76 W woofer amp per spec indicate unusually deep, controlled bass for a compact driver complement. Given the small enclosure (7.3 x 6.9 x 7.1 in) and active amplification/DSP likely in play, the low end is judged excellent for the driver size but not pushed into reference-level territory without independent listening data.
Mid
89/100
Dedicated mid/tweeter dome and substantial per-driver amplification (65 W treble listed) point to strong midrange clarity, vocal presence and body. Cabasse's tuning and the listed sensitivity suggest authoritative mids with good presence, though no review evidence is available to confirm tonal balance.
Treble
88/100
Specified 23 kHz upper limit and a dome tweeter combine with a dedicated treble amplifier to indicate extended, airy top end with ample headroom. Expect good detail and low risk of harshness, but absence of listening reports prevents rating at reference levels.
Soundstage Imaging
86/100
Automatic calibration and active multi‑channel amplification imply better-than-typical soundstage width and image stability from a compact enclosure. For a ~7" cube speaker the imaging should be convincing in small rooms, though precise depth and holography cannot be confirmed without reviewer impressions.
Dynamics
87/100
High listed sensitivity (99 dB RMS / 109 dB crest) and dedicated power per section suggest strong micro- and macro-dynamic capability for the form factor. Expect punch and transient grip beyond what passive bookshelf drivers of similar size normally achieve, subject to room and source.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
88/100
Cabasse is a premium brand and the compact, travel‑friendly dimensions plus included carrying bag indicate attention to finish and engineering. Weight (2.1 kg) and the integrated active electronics suggest solid construction, though no teardown/review evidence was provided.
Features Connectivity
93/100
Extensive built-in connectivity: Ethernet, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, USB‑C, 3.5 mm jack, SPDIF optical, wide format support (FLAC, ALAC, DSD 64/128 etc.), automatic calibration and High‑Resolution multi‑room — an exceptionally complete feature set for a compact active speaker.
Value for Money
72/100
Price was not provided (N/A) and no review comparisons to peers were supplied, so value is conservatively assessed. Cabasse positioning and rich feature set suggest a premium price; without concrete pricing or reviewer language about 'best at the price' the product cannot be scored higher on value.
