Coaxial midrange-tweeter of the MINORCA MC40
Developed with the same innovative solutions implemented for the midrange-tweeter reproduction of our reference system, La Sphère, the BC10 adds to the fidelity of the timbres—without artifice or listening fatigue—a depth and realism of the soundstage that is unequaled at this price level.
Duocell membrane bass
The 17 cm driver of Minorca is equipped with a Duocell membrane designed by Cabasse and manufactured by Cabasse robots. Very light but very rigid, and perfectly damped, this membrane with an exponential profile and variable thickness allows for maximum use of the dynamic qualities of the long-throw motors with high force factors, bringing all the precision and liveliness necessary to respect live sound.
Variable slope crossovers
The Cabasse anechoic chamber measurement protocol takes into account measurements on-axis and at 360° for perfect control of directivity and total radiated power, in accordance with SCS principles. In parallel with numerous listening sessions in rooms with different acoustics, it allows for the fine-tuning of the crossovers. They feature crossover slopes varying from 6 to 24 dB per octave, with perfect consideration of the cabinet shape and total respect for the intrinsic qualities of our coaxial drivers.
