Cabasse Jersey MC170
3-way floorstanding speaker designed for a rich and ultra-dynamic reproduction, the Jersey MC170 combines the richness and finesse of a coaxial midrange-tweeter with the density and precision of its 2 over-powered woofers. It is surprisingly effortless and diffuses a homogeneous sound in all directions.
coaxial midrange-tweeter
Developed according to the technical solutions that make the Cabasse Eole satellite a success, the 2-way coaxial driver of the MC170 range adds a depth and realism to the soundstage that is unmatched in its category, both in high fidelity and home cinema.
Long-throw woofers
The shape of the 17 cm driver basket has been specially studied by Cabasse to provide maximum mechanical rigidity and a low resonant frequency, for better bass extension without coloration. The long coil on a Kapton support is perfectly ventilated, the vertical port radiates 360°, and the power handling and acceleration capabilities are exceptional.
HDSE filters
The Cabasse anechoic chamber measurement protocol takes into account measurements on-axis and at 360° for perfect control of directivity and total radiated power, in accordance with the Cabasse principle of Homogeneous Distribution of the Sonic Energy (HDSE). Direct sounds and reflected sounds are homogeneous, making the soundstage wide and stable.
