Thanks to its patented belt drive, a very analog, musical, detailed and, in the best sense of the word, neutral-sounding CD player from Japan. CEC is one of the most renowned Japanese HiFi manufacturers - and has been for over 60 years.

In addition to its USB input, the player has an excellent-sounding 6.35 mm headphone jack. Thanks to two selectable filters, the sound can be varied, "Flat" sounds a bit more responsive and dynamic, "Pulse" a bit softer, but more detailed.

The built-in D/A converter also plays at a very high level and enables a resolution of up to 32 bits and a sampling rate of 384 kilohertz or a DSD data stream with double the sampling rate (DSD128) via the USB input. The other digital inputs S/PDIF and the coaxial RCA input process data up to 24 bit/192 kHz.
