The ways you can use it are limited only by your imagination. What truly makes it stand out from other compact speakers is its ability to adapt to your use case. The speaker is configured in a unique way using 2 x active 5" long stroke paper cone woofers. Internally each woofer have its own sealed cabinet, this is what allows it to be so flexible in combination with the powerful technology of our Mastertunings - downloadable files you can install that completely rewrite the DSP inside the speakers, turning them into a small chameleon.

With Mastertunings, you can adjust the sound balance to suit your preferences. You can even enable incredibly deep bass (which will, of course, limit maximum SPL). But what really sets it apart from its competitors is its ability to perform cardioid dispersion.

Cardioid dispersion

If you need to place a speaker close to a wall, inside a bookshelf, on a cabinet, a desktop or in a small space, cardioid dispersion is key to maintaining a spacious, natural sound. Thanks to the active rear woofer and powerful DSP, the speaker can create a noise-cancelling effect in the upper bass and lower midrange, pushing sound forward in those frequencies. Traditional speakers without cardioid dispersion radiate these frequencies in all directions, creating unwanted reflections that mask midrange and bass clarity.

Use Cases

• Standalone speakers with deep bass reproduction: If high volume isn't your priority, or if you're working with a smaller room, it can easily meet your needs with impressive low-end performance with a whopping 22hz -3dB at max 95dB SPL for one speaker at one meter (pink noise).
• Center channel speaker: One of its core design goals is to excel as a center channel. Its cardioid dispersion sets it apart from every other center channel on the market. Center speakers are often placed close to walls or inside cabinets - environments that typically compromise sound quality. Cardioid dispersion helps make these obstacles "invisible," resulting in cleaner, more open sound.
• Sat/Sub system: Pair it with the Sub10 subwoofer for a complete system that's incredibly powerful yet super compact.
• Rear channels in a home theater setup: Building a WiSA home theater system and want high-quality rear channels? It is the perfect choice and can play loud without the need for subwoofer.
