Black Ice Audio Psvane 6SN7-SE/BE "Tennis Ball"

The Psvane 6SN7-SE/BE "Tennis Ball" tube distinguishes itself through both its innovative design and superior performance. Psvane has reinterpreted the classic British-style 6SN7, encapsulating its advanced plate structure within an eye-catching, 1920s-inspired "tennis ball" glass envelope. This design pays homage to the Western Electric 205D, renowned for its similar aesthetics and construction.

The tube features an upgraded ceramic base and robust gold pins. From a sonic perspective, the Psvane 6SN7-SE delivers a nostalgia-infused sound reminiscent of a GE 6SN7 GTA, yet notably enhanced with additional detail and treble clarity. The Psvane 6SN7-BE "Blue Tennis Ball" serves as a premium variant of the 6SN7-SE, showcasing a few refinements and distinguished blue glass. While its tonal character closely mirrors that of the SE, the 6SN7-BE offers a broader soundstage, with the blue glass adding visual appeal.

The Psvane 6SN7-SE/BE is compatible with the Black Ice Audio F360 and ARIES.

• The F360 uses one 6SN7

• The ARIES uses two 6SN7’s (1 for the DAC and 1 for the Headphone/Pre) but you can use two completely different 6SN7s. These tubes function independently, allowing flexibility in replacement., you do not need to replace both or have matched tubes, they work independently.
