The 14 AWG is the same heavy-duty power cord that ships with our AHB2 power amplifier. The 18 AWG is the same power cord that ships with our DAC3HPA4 and LA4

The heavy-duty 14 AWG cords are required for the AHB2. All other Benchmark products can use the standard 18 AWG cords or the heavy-duty 14 AWG cords. In general, power amplifiers will require the heavier cords. For non-Benchmark products, consult your user manual.
