The EVOLUTION Media Player MP 5.3 and MP 3.3 set new standards in the world of high-end audio sources. Both devices are equipped with the AVM X-STREAM Engine®, which enables high-resolution streaming up to 384 kHz / 32 Bit and DSD256. They offer comprehensive streaming options, including Spotify Connect, Qobuz, TIDAL Connect, internet radio and AirPlay 2, and are ROON Ready. These features are complemented by an HDMI (ARC) interface, Bluetooth 5.0 and numerous digital as well as analog inputs and outputs.
The difference: The MP 5.3 has a Tube Line Stage with tubes specially developed for AVM, which produce a warm and musical sound. The tubes can be viewed at work through a tinted glass panel in the device’s lid. The MP 3.3, on the other hand, operates exclusively with transistor technology. This achieves the maximum linearity and clarity. Both devices benefit from the same high-quality signal processing with select Double-Quad DACs (ESS 9028 PRO), which allows for unparalleled sound quality through the parallel processing of four D/A converters per channel.
The EVOLUTION Media Players combine technical perfection with elegant and functional design. Volume control is entirely analog, and both digital and analog outputs can be set to variable or fixed levels. The digital inputs are signal-sensitive, automatically powering on the device when a signal is detected. With the RC X App for iOS and Android, control is effortless: features like upsampling rates and filter characteristics can be conveniently adjusted from your listening position.
The screwless aluminum housing in silver or black, optionally available as a CELLINI version with a chrome front, exudes minimalist elegance that perfectly complements its technical excellence. Like all AVM devices, the MP 5.3 and MP 3.3 are handcrafted at the factory in Malsch. Rigorous quality controls and a multi-day burn-in process ensure maximum reliability and durability. The included RC 3 full aluminum remote control completes the convenience of operation.
