AVID Hifi VELSONIC
Velsonic has evolved as the flagship AVID phono stage. It’s not a reinvention, but a refinement and elevation of its distinguished lineage. It carries forward the sonic DNA of its predecessors, blending new topologies and component synergies that result in a clearly more capable design that doesn’t break radically from our tradition, but simply does more, better.
Key Features
- Quick Switchable Settings
- Fully Balanced Operation
- Mono and Subsonic Filters
- Two Cartridges Simultaneously
Uncompromised Purity
While the Velsonic represents a significant advancement in design, it remains resolutely free from noise-inducing digital circuits and extraneous functions. Its architecture is clean: a fully analogue, noise minimised signal path with only the essential controls. A wide range of gain settings ensures perfect alignment with other line inputs, while numerous resistance options allow precise matching to any cartridge. The priority is one thing only, purity of the musical message.
Focused Musicality
In every aspect, Velsonic aims to seduce rather than to impress with specifications alone. Its low-noise layout, refined power regulation, bespoke components and tonal balance all converge to deliver a sense of musical engagement and emotional authority. Listeners will forget the device itself and will simply rediscover the joy of listening.
