Audiovector QR 7 SE
WHERE CLARITY MEETS DEPTH
The design goal of the QR SE series has always been to offer the most advanced technology in a perfectly finished and proportioned high-end package. The sound is big, bold, and dynamic, yet subtle and detailed when required—an excellent solution for all types of music.
The fascia plate of our Gold Leaf Air Motion Tweeter is machined from a single piece of Aerospace Grade Aluminium. It has been precision machined, glass blasted, brushed and then anodized in an attractive Tungsten Titanium Grey. It features a rose gold-plated dispersion mesh, which works as an S-Stop filter.
The new SE models all feature subtle, elegant, yet highly recognizable golden brass badges on the front panels and cloth grilles.
Our new highly specialized double cryogenic polypropylene tin flash copper capacitors are the result of constant listening, measuring, and improvement. They provide our AMT tweeters with the best possible conditions for sounding even sweeter, more detailed, and more open. The use of cryogenically treated pure copper wiring and Audiovector Nanopore damping material creates a smooth and natural musical reproduction.

The Audiovector Pure piston dual magnet bass drive units have the ability to work like a perfect piston over several octaves of the frequency band without the distortion normally found in aluminium/diamond drive units. This means music sounds warm, precise, and detailed, yet dynamic and musical.
The QR C SE speaker is equipped with the same advanced drivers as the other speakers in the QR range: a double-chamber AMT treble driver with a gold-plated S-stop mesh and Pure Piston sandwich drivers. Configured with dual bass reflex ports, it is designed to deliver maximum listening pleasure, offering a wealth of detail and unrestricted dynamics in any surround sound system.
With the addition of the powerful QR Sub SE, the detailed QR 1/3/7 SE, and the easily placed QR Wall SE, we are proud to deliver a very strong and powerful home cinema speaker solution.
MEET THE NEXT GENERATION OF ADVANCED SOUND
The QR SPECIAL EDITION is the result of continuous innovation that aims to bring listeners closer to the soul of the original music…and to make listeners really feel the music.
You’ll notice the improvements from the very first note:
➝ New in-house designed capacitors result in a cleaner treble and improved detailing.
➝ Improved heat dissipation via metal housed resistors delivers even more stable high-power precision.
➝ Cryogenically treated internal wiring improves dynamics and detailing.
➝ Strategically positioned Nano Pore dampening material enhances midrange openness.
➝ Bass reflex optimization increases precision.

Sound Quality
91/100
Bass
91/100
Inferred dual 6" Pure Piston bass drivers in a Q-port reflex cabinet suggest strong, well-controlled low end for a mid-sized tower. Score sits in the 'mid-tower typical/excellent' band given driver size and reflex tuning; without listening notes or measured in-room extension this is conservative but optimistic.
Mid
91/100
2‑way architecture with a 3 kHz crossover and audiophile-grade driver tech implies coherent, natural mids and good vocal presence. Audiovector SE tuning traditionally favors neutrality and accurate timbre, supporting a high mid score despite lack of review text.
Treble
92/100
Gold Leaf AMT with S-stop and very high stated upper limits (38–45 kHz response, 105 kHz gold leaf limit) point to airy, extended and refined top end with low distortion. Score reflects expected extension and detail from AMT technology.
Soundstage Imaging
90/100
AMT tweeter and a focused 2‑way layout typically yield good image specificity, width and depth for mid-sized floorstanders. Without room-specific measurements or reviewer imaging comments this remains an informed estimate.
Dynamics
90/100
90 dB sensitivity, 220 W power handling and a reflex bass system suggest strong micro/macro dynamics and headroom. Conservative deduction made for possible 4 ohm amplifier demands in some setups.

Build Quality
92/100
SE designation and Audiovector's reputation imply high-grade cabinet construction, driver quality and crossover work. Q-port implementation and 'Pure Piston' drivers indicate attention to resonance control and engineering.
Features Connectivity
80/100
Passive tower baseline applied (fixed 80). No DSP/app/streaming expected or penalized; no additional terminals or boundary controls listed to raise the score.
Value for Money
80/100
Price not provided (N/A), so value is judged conservatively relative to typical Audiovector SE positioning (premium). Cannot claim exceptional value without price or reviewer language.
