HCS is a very rigid synthetic material with an internal honeycomb structure, first used in our state-of-the-art STRUCTURE.

It is very light and a lot better in avoiding unwanted vibrations and resonances than the commonly used MDF. In the STRUCTURE it is used for internal enclosures of tweeter and the midrange drivers, baffle, top plate and the rear panel of the cabinet.

Its partially open structure also helps to optimize the acoustically effective volume of the speaker.
