Connected monitoring speakers with active wireless filtering between left and right speakers

The ZENEO ZX is the culmination of a project we launched almost two years ago: to offer a truly wireless hi-fi quality system, combining audiophile performance, ergonomics and versatility.

HEART OF THE SYSTEM: AB-CLASS AMPLIFICATION
The ZENEO ZX system features four totally independent amplifiers whose function is to power each speaker. The advantage of multi-amplification is that it allows customization for each type of loudspeaker. The woofers will be powered by 70W RMS / 150W Class AB pulse amplifiers, and the tweeters by 20W RMS / 40W Class AB pulse amplifiers.
Class AB is a combination of Class A and Class B, which gives it its exceptional musicality. It's the amplification class most often used in hifi amplifiers for demanding audiophiles.
On the downside, this type of amplifier requires a high-quality power supply and heat sinks, making it a fairly expensive solution.

COMMUNICATION BETWEEN 100% DIGITAL SPEAKERS
The entire audio signal from the master speaker is transmitted to the slave speaker by a 32-bit tri-core processor. Synchronization between speakers is perfect, thanks to the processor's computing power.

DSP FILTERING
Its signal processing is comparable to that of high-end studio equipment. Most processing is carried out in 56-bit mode.

COMPLETE CONNECTIVITY
The ZENEO ZX system features two analog inputs: AUX1, which can be set to PHONO mode, and AUX2/Streamer, two digital inputs: one optical and one coaxial, and a USB B input for connecting a PC or MAC.
Digital analog decoding is entrusted to a WOLFSON 24-bit/192kHz DAC renowned for its musicality.

ACOUSTICALLY PURE
The ZENEO ZX system is technically accomplished, with top-level electronics for both amplification and signal processing, but what about the acoustics?
We were guided by the same requirements for cabinet, loudspeaker and crossover design. The enclosures are made of medium-grade aluminium for rigidity and precision. Partitions and bracing prevent vibration and interference. The internal volume of the enclosure has been calculated for optimum association with the loudspeakers. The characteristics of the port ensure perfect matching with the loudspeakers and the volume of the enclosure.
Boomers are equipped with a treated paper diaphragm with stiffening surface for a neutral, lively sound. The pure copper voice coils are wired on a capton support. To avoid aggressiveness and enhance smoothness, the tweeters have impregnated fabric membranes, and the voice coils are cooled in ferrofluid.

Multistream
We live in an environment where dematerialized music, stored on a variety of nomadic devices (computers, tablets, smartphones and other portable players), plays an increasingly important role in our daily lives. Networked music is no exception, with quality services such as Spotify, Qobuz, Deezer, Amazon Music, Tidal and TuneIn offering over 100,000 radio stations.
We offer two versions of the ZENEO ZX: a Bluetooth aptX HD version, or a more complete version with a WiFi network player for additional functions such as playback from a NAS (networked hard disk) and multiroom. Note that the WiFi version incorporates a second 24-bit / 192kHz converter.
