Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
80/100
The supplied reviews focus on sound, streaming and connections rather than chassis construction, internal components or long-term reliability. They say little about build quality beyond the product's general all-in-one design.
Features Connectivity
92/100
The A1 is unusually versatile for a compact streaming amplifier, with Wi-Fi and Ethernet networking, Bluetooth, HDMI ARC, optical and coaxial digital inputs, four analogue RCA inputs, and a front headphone output. It also includes an MM phono stage and multiroom capability, making it well suited to systems combining TV, streaming, digital and vinyl sources.
Value for Money
91/100
At €890–€990, the PlayStream A1 combines streaming, HDMI ARC, phono input, multiroom operation and broad source connectivity in one component. Lite MAGAZIN explicitly calls it pleasingly affordable, while its review characterises it as a capable all-rounder for streaming newcomers.
