Advance Paris, Creator of emotions
Advance Paris is a story of passion, a passion for the craft of creating emotions, shared with a team fully committed to the quest for perfection. Founded by two music enthusiasts over 20 years ago, Advance Paris - then Advance Acoustic - designed its first loudspeaker based on three fundamental points: cabinetry, loudspeakers and crossover circuitry.

To this day, this primary orientation remains as relevant as ever.

Cabinetmaking
Our high-end philosophy naturally led us to cabinet makers renowned for their reliability and professionalism.
Making cabinetry is much more difficult than it sounds. The structure of the body must be homogeneous and totally rigid in order to eliminate parasitic vibrations polluting the listening experience.
To this end, Advance Paris requires its cabinet-making subcontractors to use high-quality materials. High-density structural panels are no longer made of agglomerates, but of wood fibers combined with a synthetic binder. The advantages of these composite panels are their three-dimensional homogeneity, their ability to be processed in thicknesses of up to 30mm, their dimensional stability and, last but not least, their acoustic performance, which is superior to that of conventional OSB or PP panels.
For reasons of rigidity and machining precision, all Advance Paris cabinetry is made from this composite material.
To perfect this rigidity and homogeneity, internal bracing and partitions prevent any formation of parasitic vibrations. The interior volume of the cabinet is meticulously calculated, as are the dimensions of the tuning port for each driver used. Last but not least, each speaker cabinet undergoes an individual tightness check at the joints, both at the belt and at the front and rear of the cabinet.

Internal amortization
Diaphragm displacement in bass and midrange drivers propagates in front of and behind the driver itself, in phase opposition. The use of a cabinet is designed to eliminate this acoustic short-circuit. To this end, we use damping materials specifically developed to deal effectively with these standing waves. They are used in very specific ways, so for each model, our designers determine the positioning, density and volume of the acoustic foam used.

The speakers
The design of our loudspeakers meets precise specifications. Our woofers and midrange drivers feature tightly woven paper diaphragms, which are both light and rigid for greater sonic neutrality.
The use of an "inverted half-roll" suspension profile optimizes the linearity of the loudspeaker's frequency response.
